Introducing Summer Mini Camps, designed for kids whose grownups are home for the summer - whether they're stay-at-home parents, homeschool families or working remotely! These short and sweet 3-day camps provide hands-on, enriching experiences where kids can get out of the house, creating and exploring in a screen-free environment!

We keep our camps small - Summer Mini Camps have a max registration capacity of 8 campers. All of our camps include activities that encourage team building, communication and social skills practice; helping kids connect and grow by working together!

Camp Skimino is located in Williamsburg, Virginia  and offers day camps, resident camps, and plenty of hiking, boating, and archery experiences! At 90 acres, Camp Skimino is a great destination for outdoor programs. Splash and swim in the camp pool, learn archery skills at the camp’s archery range, be challenged on the low ropes course, and climb on our indoor climbing wall!

There’s so much fun and excitement in store for our 2025 camp season, and our trained and caring staff members are looking forward to welcoming your Girl Scout. Staff are prepared to support all campers through new discoveries, helping them engage in activities designed with their interests and abilities in mind.

Mad Science has been the area's leading provider of science enrichment since 2008. We deliver unique, hands-on science experiences for kids through after-school programs, birthday parties, workshops, special events, & camps. Our innovative programs are as entertaining as they are educational!

Give your budding young artist a summer of creative exploration at the Mary M. Torggler Fine Arts Center’s 2025 Summer Art Camps! Designed for children and teens ages 5–14, our camps, held in the Torggler’s state-of-the-art building, offer unique, hands-on art experiences led by experienced art educators. Campers will explore an exciting variety of art media, techniques, and processes through classes in ceramics, painting, and drawing as well as digital art and photography, Procreate, and even 3D Printing!

Summer’s Best Two Weeks is a transformative camp experience for grades K-8th to introduce kids to a variety of sports, develop their skills, and teach them to honor God and one another in the way they compete in sports and all of life. Virginia Children's Chorus provides choral singing instruction to children in grades K - 12. Students audition and are placed in one of 5 choir groups based on age & ability. Rehearsal locations for all in Norfolk and additional location for beginners in Virginia Beach and for intermediate level in Newport News. All choirs sing in concert. Rehearsals & concerts run with the school year. Tuition assistance is available.

Museum educators help children explore nature and space through hands-on activities, touring through the Museum, and learning about animals. Camps are designed for preschool campers aged 4 through high school.
